Artwork Purchase Terms and Conditions

Wet Art Atelier — Sales Agreement Terms


These terms apply to all purchases of artwork through Wet Art Atelier, whether initiated online, via email, or in person.

1. Order Process

  • All artworks are subject to availability.
  • Pricing and artwork details will be confirmed in writing before any sale is finalised.
  • An enquiry does not constitute a confirmed sale.

2. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD)and include GST, unless otherwise stated.
  • Full payment must be received before the artwork is released or shipped.
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed upon purchase.

3. Ownership and Risk

  • Ownership of the artwork transfers to the buyer once full payment is received.
  • Risk (e.g. damage or loss in transit) passes to the buyer upon dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping fees are quoted separately based on delivery location and artwork dimensions.
  • We take all reasonable steps to ensure artworks are securely packaged and shipped.
  • Wet Art Atelier is not liable for delivery delays due to shipping providers or customs.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • All sales are finalunless the artwork is received in a damaged condition or is materially different from its description.
  • Claims must be submitted within 48 hoursof delivery, with photo evidence of the damage.
  • Refunds or replacements are not available for change of mind.

6. International Orders

  • International buyers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and import regulations in their country.
  • We recommend checking local customs rules before purchasing.

7. Copyright

  • The purchase of an artwork does notgrant reproduction or copyright rights.
  • All intellectual property remains with the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.
